Wario Land: Shake It! - review

Posted on Sep 21, 2008 09:13:13 PM

A portion of an EDGE review…

Whatever happened to the everything-butthe-kitchen-sink approach of WarioWare Twisted’s 200-something bonus trinkets? Shake is at its best when emulating the obnoxiousness and buffoonery of its hero. That it occasionally bows to his stupidity is an unexpected disappointment.

NHL Hockey Coming to the Wii

Posted on Jul 27, 2008 05:26:17 AM

The NHL is finally coming the Nintendo Wii, according to a recent press release from 2K Sports.

The popular NHL 2K9 will be heading to the Wii … sometime. There doesn’t seem to be any information yet as to when the game will be released but at least we know it’s coming.

Using the Wii Remote’s revolutionary controls this game will certainly be a big hit with hockey fans and Wii owners.

Upcoming New Release, Animal Crossing: City Folk

Posted on Jul 27, 2008 05:22:44 AM

Wii has decided to, yet again, release a fantastic new version of Animal Crossing. It first started out as Animal Crossing, a game released with the Nintendo Gamecube. Then, there was Animal Crossing: Wild World, released for the Nintendo DS. And now, in the year 2008, it is being released again. As Animal Crossing: City Folk. I’m sure it will be a smashing success, as most of us enjoyed playing previous versions of the game.

It is scheduled to be released November 16th 2008.

Why I love It: Final Fantasy Tactics

Posted on Jul 2, 2008 06:25:19 AM

This is just a little story that I’d like to share with all of you guys about a series spin-off that I happen to love, and you’ll know just how much by the time you finish reading this story.

Now, when I was little(er), and when the PS1 and the original Final Fantasy Tactics game came out, I didn’t have it, hell, I didn’t even own a PS1, so I didn’t play the original game till’ after I played Final Fantasy Tactics Advance for the Game boy Advance. I first got FFTA when it came out on Christmas, and the only reason I really wanted it is because It just looked kind of fun, spells, weapons, monsters, everything that a 10 year-old kid would like. I got it, and was instantly addicted to it. I played through the main game (the story part of it), in about 100 hours, with completing roughly 100 or so quests. That took me about a couple months, so I thought, why not spend some more time playing through all the quests, and maxing out all of my characters. So I set out to do that. I beat every single quests in the game, got all the unlockable characters, but soon realized that I couldn’t’ max out my characters stats without spending my whole life into it. So leaving about all the characters in my clan at around level 60, with the best weapons and spells possible, I decided to put the game down, after roughly 150 put into it.
